We had a wonderful 3 day stay at The Terrace, my place. The place is spacious, clean, and very comfortable with lots of history. Its Terrace is great for having a meal or winding down after a long day out. Location is excellent with shopping centre and restaurants in close proximity . Alessandro is a great host, very responsive, helpful, and informative. Thanks Alessandro for booking us the taxi and giving us all the tips about Genoa and beyond. Highly recommended and will come back again.

PERFECT HONEYMOON!
We were greeted by Alessandro, the owner with great warmth and lively, intelligent conversations. He gave us a tour of his lovely apartment and was easily contactable by phone if we needed anything. The apartment is spacious, very bright and furnished as if it were still a family home. It is on the top floor (5th) and the kitchen opens onto a rooftop terrace with a beautiful view of Genoa city and the harbor. We were lucky that we arrived early in the spring, so we were able to have breakfast on the terrace among the lemon trees. The bed was very comfortable. Although the apartment is on the 5th floor, there is no need to climb stairs - there is an elevator. It is in a quiet neighborhood, close to the main boulevard but very close to Piazza Corvetto at the top of Via Roma, just a 10-minute walk from the opera house. There are nearby stores in the small Piazza and a very well-stocked Carrefour City convenience store just off the corner near the English Church. To get there, the nearest train station is Genoa Brignole which is only a 20-minute walk away but you might prefer a short cab ride to save your suitcases along the cobblestone sidewalk (sidewalk). For a day out, we recommend taking the train along the beautiful coast to Camoglie and Portofino if only for the ride.
